Part of the Joshua Greaves Group (est. 1919), Greaves Vessels manufacture tanks and process vessels for a wide range of uses. Vessels are designed to meet each client’s specific requirements.
Pressure vessels from 15 to 20,000 litre capacities with optimum performance and efficient jacketing allow consistent reactions to occur whilst processing materials safely and hygienically. Jackets offer temperatures as low as -18oC for both chilling food and liquids such as dairy produce and fruit juices or as high to 300oC in Autoclaves to reduce the viscosity of certain materials, lubricants, resins and waxes to ease processing. Higher temperature processing of chocolate, syrups, sauces and pharmaceuticals reduces viscosities but more importantly ensures hygiene standards are passed.
Vessel sizes vary from 200-2000 litre mobile tanks to 100,000 litre storage vessels with multi-vessel arrangements offering the elimination of factory downtime during filling, processing and cleaning cycles. Specification can also include agitation, vacuum and surface finishes to pharmaceutical standards. Vessel top and base styles such as dished, conical, flat and sloping bottom assist processing, dispensing and cleaning cycles and we offer guidance for the optimum selection depending on your process requirements.
Turn-key projects from mobile skids (or process modules) to complete process plant systems cover all aspects of monitoring systems, pipework, safety considerations, ATEX or hazardous atmospheres and hygiene compliance.
